The Shoppe of Curiosities in Sherwood
Thanks to all of you who supported The Shoppe of Curiosities, next door to the art studio in Sherwood.
The Shoppe is open on the weekends in the summer, and is currently still open and available for viewing all year long by contacting DeeDee Wood at (410) 725-9902. DeeDee would be happy to show you our world-famous gargoyles, World War II German glass eyes, a vast collection of English antique curiosities, as well as handmade brains, jewelry, anatomy art and more. By appointment only, allow us to show you our ceramics fired in the kiln, handmade tiles and more on a private tour from November 2011-April 2012. We will re-open the shop on weekends starting again in May of 2012.
PLEASE VISIT THE GARGOYLE BELL WEBSITE TO SEE DAWN'S GARGOYLES (DeeDee helps make them too!)-
Dawn would like to thank all of you for the great haunted Halloween turn-out that we had in October. Congrats to Nancy Stevens, who found our ghost statue hiding in the Queen Elizabeth II tins! Good eye, Nancy! Nancy won a painting of Tilghman Island, painted by DeeDee during plein-air weekend last June.
OUR ENTIRE STORE IS ONLINE NOW-on Ebay-thousands of our curious items! Follow the link when it is posted here-it is a large project, and DeeDee is still working on it-when the store is complete and running, we will post the link here.
