About Us

Dawn Malosh is the owner of Aesthetic Alternatives, located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.  She has been an art educator and instructor for over 25 years.  Dawn also owns a teaching art company at www.outsideartlessons.com and would be happy to help you achieve your goals and artistic inspirations.  Dawn has a BS in Art Education from Northern Arizona University.  Dawn is an author of several environmental education books, as well as color theory.  Please contact her for administrative needs, questions, field trip information and more!  

DeeDee Wood is our Project Manager and Lead Artist.  From conception of an idea to fruition, DeeDee is excellent at researching historical aspects of a project, finding the right contractors for your needs, working with quotes, color samples and sketches, into an organized, cohesive project that delivers on the results you desire.   DeeDee has been an artist for over 20 years and keeps abreast of the most current trends in our industry.  DeeDee has a BA in English from Franklin College and maintains our blog and writes all of our correspondence.  Please contact her for ideas and inspiration!
